They host many fun events. Join in the activities, get to know your neighbors and build relationships so that you can help each other in times of trouble, such as disasters.

The community association runs on residents' membership fees.

Membership fees are used for festivals, crime prevention and cleanup activities.

How to Join a Local Community Association

Membership fees are used for various activities, such as installing and maintaining security equipment and organizing cleanup efforts. The amount of the fees and how they are used vary by local community organization.

２．What are Community Centers?

In Fukuoka City, each elementary school district has a community center, also known as public halls, where residents can come together for various activities. The centers hold local events as well as lectures where you can learn a variety of things.
